Community Service & Volunteer Work |
|
The Central Valley Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee is a proud, active member in the Modesto community. When opportunities have arisen, and if time constraints have allowed, the CVJATC has assisted with various community projects.
Recent activities include 'rough wiring' & 'finish trimming' of a handful of residences in conjuction with Habitat for Humanity of Modesto. These opportunities allow for the CVJATC to give back to others and to also provide highly valuable training experiences in residential wiring to our apprentices.

Yet another activity was assisting with the refurbishing project of the historic "Modesto Water Wealth Contentment Health" signage located on I Street adjacent to 9th Street in downtown Modesto. The CVJATC worked in conjunction with Collins Electrical Co. to assist on this project.
